The Ravens defense was stingy in the red zone throughout the game against the Chargers.

A year ago the Baltimore Ravens didn’t break the 30-point mark until the ninth week of the season. So far in 2009 they are now two-for-two after defeating the San Diego Chargers 31-26 to remain undefeated on the season.

The Ravens didn’t move up and down the field quite as easily as they did a week ago against Kansas City, but they did take advantage of their scoring chances to pull out their second straight win over an AFC West opponent.

The trio of Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis will all need to be ready against the explosive offense of the San Diego Chargers.

Overview: The Baltimore Ravens face their second straight opponent from the AFC West as they travel to San Diego to face the dangerous Chargers.

This could be an interesting early season matchup as the Ravens looked excellent in their victory over the Chiefs while the Chargers struggled against the Raiders and needed some late heroics to pull out the victory.
